FACEBOOK TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Be consistent
  2. Post every day, 2-4 times a day. Be interactive to increase engagement.
  3. Respond to comments within in one hour, and no later than 24 hours later.
  4. Ask questions! Question posts have 92% higher comment rates than non-question posts.
  5. Be the face of your group, and use good lighting! Use clean well-lit pictures in natural light if possible.
  6. Be yourself, don’t copy other people’s posts. The algorithm does not like that!
    7. Show your personality, be fun, and allow your followers to get to know you through your posts.
    8. Post what you love (kids, dog, family, hobbies).
  7. Create a “group culture.” Encourage interaction between your followers.
    10. Follow the 80/20 rule.
  8. Create a daily series. For example, “Tip Tuesday,” “Fashion Friday,” or “Workout Wednesday.”
  9. Encourage your customers to post pictures wearing your products. Offer them a discount on their next order if they do.
  10. Five to ten minutes before you post, get active on FB to warm up the algorithm! Comment on people's posts, watch videos, like pictures, etc. Show a legit interest in what's happening on Facebook. Facebook rewards contributing members!
  11. Because Facebook rewards early interaction in a post, stick around for 5-10 minutes after you post to respond to every single comment. Ask a question that your followers have to answer to encourage them to comment again.
  12. The Facebook algorithm revolves around AUTHENTICITY. Do not copy and paste "product post" from other shop owners. Every time you copy and paste someone else's wording and picture, you are hurting yourself and your fellow shop owner.
  13. Notify your followers when you are going LIVE so they know to tune in!
  14. When LIVE, ask questions to those watching that they have to answer to help the algorithm.
